Premier loves Pets Adoption Event - Jenn H
As part of our continuous dedication to rescues and shelters in our community we held our 13th annual pet adoption event on this sunny October Saturday!! This year we included a free micro chip event and we thank Dr. Miller for her generous donation of her time to facilitate it. Please microchip to avoid your beloved dog or cat ending up unknown in a shelter at some point in their lives!! It saves families!!

Middlebury Stuff a Bus - Kerri P
For the third year in a row, we joined Region15 Middlebury Elementary school and PTO in their quest to "stuff a bus" for the local food bank for the holidays. The goal: to fill an entire school bus with non-perishable food items that will be delivered to the Middlebury Food Bank and distributed to those in need in the local community. Goal ACHIEVED!!!! Premier employees shopped for weeks in preparation and we were there at 11am to start the day off right for their endeavor!! The kids were delighted to move over 30 bags from our vehicle to their bus to get the day rolling!! Together, we are making the world and our community a better place!

Premier Subaru’s commitment goes beyond writing a check. It is about opening doors for every member of the Greater Waterbury community. Through their support of the Subaru Love Promise, they help expand access to the Mattatuck Museum for over 40,000 visitors each year. Their partnership ensures that art and history are available to everyone, regardless of background or circumstance. Their funding expands our arts and history programming, allowing us to welcome students who might otherwise never visit a museum. These experiences spark curiosity and inspire young minds throughout the community. Premier Subaru of Middlebury Delivers Comfort at The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center - Paige C
As part of the heartfelt Subaru Loves to Care initiative, Premier Subaru of Middlebury partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to bring warmth and encouragement to local cancer patients. This year, the Premier Subaru team delivered 80 cozy blankets to The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, offering comfort and support to those undergoing treatment. The Subaru Loves to Care initiative is about more than donations—it’s about making a difference in the lives of others. Each blanket delivered carried a message of hope and compassion, showing patients that their community stands with them. Through this generous act, Premier Subaru of Middlebury continues to drive positive change—on the road and in the hearts of those who need it most. Their dedication to giving back reflects the very best of what community partnership can be.

Premier Subaru Middlebury Donates $74,185 to Camp Rising Sun, a Camp for Kids with Cancer, Through Share the Love Campaign Premier Subaru Middlebury has once again demonstrated its commitment to children facing cancer by donating $74,185 to Camp Rising Sun through the Subaru Share the Love campaign. Over the past nine years, Premier Subaru dealerships have contributed more than $850,000 to the camp. Camp Rising Sun is a cost-free, weeklong overnight camp held at Camp Jewell YMCA in Colebrook, Connecticut, for children ages 5 to 17 who have been diagnosed with cancer, are currently undergoing treatment, or are in remission. The camp also welcomes their siblings, offering a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where kids can simply be kids. During Camp Week, children enjoy traditional summer camp activities, make new friends, and create lifelong memories. An extraordinary team of volunteer counselors and pediatric medical professionals ensures each camper receives the highest level of care and support. Premier Subaru’s generous donations remove the financial burden for families navigating incredibly difficult times. Thanks to this year’s contribution, more than 150 children will attend Camp Rising Sun in 2025. In total, Premier’s ongoing support has made camp possible for over 500 campers in recent years. Camp Rising Sun has been bringing joy and hope to children with cancer since 1983. With partners like Premier Subaru, the camp continues to grow and thrive—proving that until there’s a cure, there’s camp.
Premier Subaru Loves The Earth - Kerri P
At Premier Subaru, we care deeply about our community and are committed to keeping our neighborhoods vibrant and healthy now and for generations to come. Trees are vital to this effort— they provide oxygen, cool our community, filter water, clean the air, prevent flooding, and improve health. But every year, our community loses trees due to age, disease, infestation, and extreme weather. Subaru and retailers like us are proud to partner with the Arbor Day Foundation to help address this problem. This spring as part of our Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, Premier provided and distributed 100 of mature, regionally appropriate trees that will benefit communities for generations. This year alone, Subaru and its retailers provided and distributed 100,000 trees to communities across the country. Through this new partnership and other initiatives, Subaru and retailers like us have helped distribute and plant over 1.1 million trees so far — and this is just the beginning. Together, we are growing a greener, healthier Middlebury for generations to come.
Brass City Rescue - Kerri P
In 2024 Premier made a huge effort to assist our local shelter as the rescue world became overwhelming. Too many dogs and not enough dollars. Medical bills, prescriptions and routine maintenance had all become overwhelming while people continued to abandon their "pets" at alarming rates. Premier has made a commitment to be a continual contributor to the vet bills, the amazon list of needs and sometimes just the emotional support to keep the Brass City Team from feeling overwhelmed. We look forward to even bigger and better teamwork with Brass City in the new year!!
Waterbury Enlightenment School Snack Closet - Kerri P
Enlightenment, in partnership with communities and families, provides all students the opportunity to achieve their academic potential, improve attendance and become responsible, independent, productive global citizens. Enlightenment provides a dynamic, nurturing, challenging, and safe school environment that assists all students in building positive relationships while attaining their educational, personal/social, and career goals. Premier was honored to support these students growth by stocking their "snack closet" for the second year in a row. These students are fighting and beating the odds to complete their education and become productive members of society and their brains need nutrients to accomplish that and unfortunately, that is not always a given in their worlds. Premier provides healthy (ok a few cookies too!) snacks that allow them to ensure a complete breakfast and lunch is within their grasp as they tackle their school work.
