CONNECTICUT'S MORNING BUZZ
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) - Connecticut's Morning Buzz Host Natasha Lubczenko recently met with Shaun Heffernan, Executive Director of Camp Rising Sun, and Robert Alvine, President of Premier Auto Group, who has been a longtime supporter of the camp. Camp Rising Sun offers a unique opportunity for children facing a cancer diagnosis to attend camp for free. "Our kids are special, not because they have cancer, but because they're funny, they're talented, and they're great friends," said Shaun. The camp provides a week of fun at the end of August for children and their siblings, helping them forget their diagnosis and just be kids.

At Premier Subaru our annual Share the Love event is going on now. With every new Subaru purchased or leased we will donate $500 to one of 4 national charities or our chosen local charity, Camp Rising Sun. For the 9th year in a row we have partnered with Camp Rising Sun, a no cost camp that welcomes any child age 5-17 who has faced a diagnosis of cancer for a week of fun and friendship!
